Before there was Little Match Productions, there were Little Black Dress Creatives.
Our origins began with the idea that all opera should be engaging and accessible. No big ball gowns - just a little black dress and a beer!
Today, we take our two core goals of engaging and accessible opera much further as we seek to reimagine what opera can be.
Little Match Productions is the home of feminist comedy music group Babushka Cabaret and all female pop-opera quartet Belladiva. We are also actively developing new chamber opera works including Bilum Mamma with Heru Pinkasova. Watch this space!
